Lane closed on M6 southbound after traffic collision
A lane has been closed on the M6 Southbound J36 (Skipton, Kirkby Lonsdale A65, Barrow A590) to J35 (Carnforth, Morecambe A601M A6) due to a traffic collision earlier this morning.
The hard shoulder and lane one have been subsequently closed.
Highways England said traffic officers, Cumbria roads police and Lancashire roads police, as well as North West Ambulance crews attended the scene.
They have said the incident is not expected to clear soon.
UPDATE 13:45: The incident has been resolved and the closure has been removed.
