A TEENAGE drug driver has been banned from the road.
Korbin Dixon was stopped in a Vauxhall Astra by police on Jute Road in Barrow on January 4 this year, South Cumbria Magistrates Court heard.
The proportion of controlled drug Benzoylecgonine (a body breakdown product of cocaine) in his blood exceeded the specified limit.
The 18-year-old, of Station Road, Dalton, was told to complete 50 hours unpaid work and banned from driving for 15 months. He was also told to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
