AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a man was allegedly assaulted in a beer garden.
Police are seeking witnesses to the assault which occurred at around 7.45pm on Saturday in a beer garden, on Branthwaite Brow, Kendal.
The incident involved two men. One of the men suffered minor facial injuries.
A 42-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of assault and has subsequently been released on bail.
