Here we celebrate the extra special arrivals, many of whom come into the world at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary – and further afield.

SWEET: Little Harlow Charlotte Broadley came into the world on July 3, weighing 8lb 8oz to mum Claire Parker, dad Chris Broadley and older sister Mia. Here she is safe at home at Bigland Drive, Ulverston

SWEET: Noah Samuel Casey-Dixon was born seven weeks early at Royal Lancaster Infirmary on April 2, weighing 5lb 2oz. After two weeks in a NICU, he returned home to Kendal with mum Emma Casey and dad Mark Dixon

SNUGGLED: Poppy Sheila Warner is a first child for parents Ani Heron and Liam Warner of Princes Street, Ulverston. She came into the world on July 14, weighing 7lb 5oz.

BATH TIME: Little Sophie Mary Metcalfe decided she couldn’t wait to come into the world, as she was born at home in Burton-in-Kendal on June 2, weighing 7lb 5oz to parents Nicola and Stuart

CUTE: Luca Phoenix Bressington came into the world at South Lakes Birth Centre on July 20, weighing 8lb 5oz. He is a first child for parents Nina Bownass and Connor Bressington
