'Unexpected incident' leaves homes with out power
Dozens of homes are without power after 'an unexpected incident'.
Engineers from Electricity North West are currently on site after the power outage was reported just after 6pm.
A spokesman said: "The power cut has been caused by an unexpected incident on our high voltage cables which provide electricity to your property.
"We are sorry you are experiencing a power cut."
The team expect power to resume by 9.30pm.
