A DOUBLE appointment has been made to the board of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority.
Mark Corner and Derek Twine replace Jocelyn Manners-Armstrong and Judith Donovan, who had both reached the end of their four-year terms.
Mr Corner is chairman of charity Friends of the Dales and lives at Langcliffe. He retired from Royal Dutch Shell plc in 2009.
Mr Twine is a former chief executive of the UK Scout Association and lives in Burnley-in-Wharfedale.
He was awarded a CBE in 2007 for services to young people.
