Local woman raises urgent funds despite Covid obstacles
ROSIE Harris of Underbarrow hosts an annual Strawberry Tea in aid of the national charity Breast Cancer Now.
Unfortunately, due to Covid and social distancing this could not take place this year. Undeterred, Rosie and a couple of friends set about baking scones and Rosie sold them from her front gate.
She raised a grand total of £190.00 which she will donate to the charity. Very well-done Rosie on this great achievement.
