THE Cotswold Outdoor retailer has launched a new in-store appointment service to coincide with the reopening of its stores.

The retailer announced the new service - also run with Snow+Rock and Runners Need - at the time it made public plans to reopen its Grasmere store, following a temporary closure during the lockdown period.

The firm says appointments, which can already be booked at selected stores, are free to arrange - either in-store or online - and come with no obligation to spend.

Cotswold also said that, in line with government advice, there will be several new store processes and policies in place to help keep customers and in-store experts safe.

These include one-way systems, limiting the number of customers in-store at a time and constantly reviewed hygiene measures.

The outdoor retailer said it was 'excited' to be launching the service, which it originally announced last month, ahead of a summer in the South Lakes likely to be 'filled with staycations and short getaways in the great outdoors'.
