A WORKINGTON woman has been given a community order after she stole products totalling more than £500 from two stores.
Anna Elizabeth Scott first faced a charge of stealing property to the value of £100 from Debenhams in Workington.
The second charge related to stealing goods from Boots in Workington valued at £411.50.
She admitted both offences.
Both thefts took place on July 23.
Scott, of Irving Street in Workington, appeared before Carlisle's magistrates' court last Thursday.
She also faced a charge of stealing products valued at £133.62 from the same Boots store.
This took place five days after the other two offences.
Scott, 38, was given a community order imposing an eight-week curfew on her requiring her to be at home between the hours of 8pm and 6am every day.
She was ordered to pay a total of £545.12 in compensation to the two shops.
The amount must be paid by August 20, the court heard.
