A BRAMPTON man has been given a 12-week curfew for damaging a door at a Co-op store.
Justin William Allen, 49, appeared before Carlisle’s magistrates’ court on Wednesday.
Allen admitted damaging the locks at the Brampton Co-op.
The offence took place on July 15.
Allen, of Moatside in the town, was given a 12-week curfew requiring him to be at home during the hours of 9pm and 6am.
He was ordered to pay £906.86 in compensation to the Co-op.
Solicitor John Smith represented Allen during the short hearing.
The amount will be deducted from Allen’s benefits.
No other costs were demanded from the court.
The defendant’s guilty plea was taken into account.
