A HEAVY rain warning has been issued for parts of Cumbria.
Spells of heavy rain will affect parts of northern England today and tomorrow, mainly across hilly parts of Cumbria.
Between 20 and 40 mm is likely to fall tonight, with as much as 50 to 80 mm in a few places.
The rain will clear away southeastwards by Thursday morning.
There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings
There is a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services.
