Kendal Mountain Rescue Team were called to assist with the extraction of a young man from Spital quarry this afternoon.
The team's help was requested at 15:18 today (September 3) by North West Ambulance Service (NWAS).
The team worked alongside GNAAS Helimed and NWAS paramedics to ensure the casualty was moved safely and transferred to the Helimed.
