One of the Lake District’s most popular hotels is on the market.
The historic New Dungeon Ghyll in Great Langdale, near Ambleside, is being marketed by the specialist hotels team at real estate advisors Colliers International.
It was placed on the market after current owners, J & J Smith Hotels, decided to sell up and focus on other business interests.
The 23-bedroom hotel was first listed for £3 million but the asking price has been reduced by £25,000.
The site includes a bar and restaurant.
