Police in Carlisle dealt with four shoplifting offences in one day.
Carlisle Retailers Against Crime team worked with town centre PCSOs to detain five people in relation to the incidents.
The first incident involved a woman who had taken items from two different stores without offering payment. She has been reported for the thefts.
Another woman who stole from five separate stores has also been reported for her offences, said Carlisle Police on Facebook.
Meanwhile two young women were caught on CCTV stealing items to make slime, as well as a set of pyjamas. They were detained as soon as they left the store and police said they both received community resolutions as they were first-time offenders.
A woman, who also committed her first offence when she concealed hair dye and shampoo in a bag and left a shop without paying, was dealt by way of community resolution.
