A LITTLE girl will be taking part in a sponsored walk to raise money for other children across the world.
Evie-May Capstick will be walking for Save the Children’s Muddy Puddle Walk this weekend.
The three-year-old,who loves walking and is a big Peppa Pig fan according to her mum, has raised almost £300.
“I’m really really proud of her,” said Elli-Jo Shepherd, Evie-May’s mum.
“We had a talk about it and I explained that some children aren’t as lucky as she is and asked if she would like to help?
“It was really lovely, she understood and said she wanted to help.”
The challenge, which is Peppa Pig themed, was supposed to happen in May but was postponed to the week of September 28.
Evie-May will be walking near her home in Kendal with her mum, dad and grandparents.
Ms Shepherd said the family would be making a day of the walk.
“It says to do half a mile but we go for lots of nice walks,” she said.
“And she likes to walk and run around so we’ll go a little further.”
