THE presenters of BBC hit show Top Gear were in south Cumbria yesterday.
The Forestry Commission have confirmed the team of Andrew Flintoff, Paddy McGuinness, and Chris Harris were in Grizedale Forest filming.
And filming for what is believed to be a Netflix series started in a Lakeland town too.
A South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) spokesman confirmed a film crew was using the Miller Bridge car park in Ambleside as a base and that filming was happening at Rydal Caves.
The car park, which is owned by Lakeland Estates, is enforced by the council.
SLDC’s spokesman added that crews were apparently using the car park for vehicles and catering facilities.
A local business owner said they had seen a team setting up in the caves and was told they were filming for the next series of Netflix’s The Witcher.
