THE location of the popular winter sale held by a running store in Kendal has been moved to comply with Covid restrictions.
A spokesman for Pete Bland Sports, which is located on Kirkland, said on Facebook that Wilf's Café, Staveley, was not being used for the store's winter flash sale this year sale due to 'Covid restrictions, space etc'.
However, the spokesman said the parish hall on Kirkland, just down the road from the shop itself, would now be used instead.
He said the hall would allow organisers to run a 'perfectly Covid secure event'.
The sale is to take place on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1.
In response to an enquiry about car parking on the Facebook post, the spokesman said: "Parking in the church car park should be fine, lots of space. Alternatively, the Peppercorn (Lane) car park just past the shop."
