The family of a man who went missing from Swindon over nine years ago are appealing for information to find him.

Adam Wilmott was last seen leaving Great Western Hospital on September 27, 2011. Though the 36-year-old was homeless at the time of his disappearance, he often stayed at local hostels or with friends and would always maintain contact with his family.

His family have said that Adam would frequent areas of Bristol including Fishponds, Hartcliffe, Speedwell, Eastern and St George.

Wiltshire Police officers continue to review the case and identify any new lines of enquiry. They are in regular contact with the Missing People charity to help locate him.

The family reported Adam as missing in April 2014. They describe his disappearance as out of character and are desperate for any news of his whereabouts.

Adam is described as white, medium build with short brown hair on the sides of his head but bald on top. He occasionally had some facial hair but more often than not liked to be clean shaven.

Anyone with information about Adam’s whereabouts or anyone who may have seen him since 2011 should contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
