THE page is dedicated to Robbie Tuer and his fellow cyclists who went above and beyond to complegte a mammoth cycling challenge for charities close to his heart.

Finishing the ride at Raughton Head, Robbie commented on how heart-warming everyone was towards supporting the bike ride, whether being one of the 11 mad cyclists doing the whole 138 miles – a member that joined for part of the journey or 'some of you who came to support and cheer us on along the way.'

"A massive thanks go to Graham Holliday for helping me think of the idea, to Richard Gardiner (District President), Gill Winspear (District Vice president) and Sid Sibbald (Ex District President) for giving up your weekend to be in the support vehicle’s and provide us with those well needed snacks and bottles of water along the way – and give us that extra bit of energy when we needed it. To Megan Norwood and Will Horsley for driving the second support vehicle on day one and two respectively. A massive thanks go to Wigton YFC who provided us lunch on Saturday, Penrith YFC who provided a well needed banana, bar of chocolate and some hydration at a key point on day two and to Skelton YFC for providing us a light lunch on Sunday. The biggest of thank you goes to our resident First Aider for the weekend, Josie Mitchinson, who I owe so much to.
