A TEENAGER banned from entering Kendal has admitted breaching bail.

Ethan Kai Pickering is facing a charge of attempting to unlawfully and maliciously cause grievous bodily harm to another man in an incident in the town on August 21 this year.

He appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates Court after failing to comply with a curfew as part of his bail conditions.

The 18-year-old, of Paradise Street in Barrow, was arrested by a police officer on Sunday.

He appeared in court the following day.

Bail conditions include not being allowed to contact the alleged victims or their associates by any means whatsoever and not to enter Kendal.

Mr Pickering has also been given a curfew as part of the bail conditions to be at his home address between the hours of 7pm and 6am.

These conditions are in place until the hearing at Carlisle Crown Court.

The date and time for the court hearing is yet to be decided.
