A MAN has been ordered to take part in a rehabilitation program and undertake 80 hours unpaid work after assaulting a woman at Newby Bridge.
Cristian Dorel Toaca, 37, pleaded guilty to the assault on Adela Toaca dating back to June 15.
Toaca, whose address was listed on court document as the Cuckoo Brow Inn at Far Sawrey, near Hawkshead, was ordered by South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court to carry out 80 hours unpaid work and take part in a Building Better Relationships Programme. Toaca also had a restraining order put on him and he must pay a victim surcharge of £95 and £85 court costs.
