No further deaths among Covid-19 positive patients were announced across hospitals in north Cumbria yesterday.

There were however three further deaths among Covid-19 positive patients across the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust, which runs hospital services in south Cumbria.

There were no deaths among Covid-19 positive patients across hospitals in Northumberland.

The seven day average rate of Covid-19 in Carlisle, which is now in Tier 2, is 243.8 people testing positive per 100,000.

The rate in Allerdale stands at 107.4 per 100,000.

In Barrow, also in Tier 2, it is 247.6 per 100,000.

In Copeland, the seven day average infection rate is 143.7 per 100,000 people.

In Eden, it is 182.1 per 100,000 people.

In South Lakeland, it is 122.8 per 100,000 people.
