FIREFIGHTERS this morning rescued a woman from an overturned car near Hook.
Reading Road in Mattingley was closed whilst firefighters righted the vehicle which had overturned.
It comes as emergency services urged people to slow down on the roads with heavy rain meaning that a number of aquaplaning incidents had been reported to them.
UPDATES: M3 partially blocked, emergency services warning of poor road conditions.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service's control room also said that they had dealy with "a large number of calls for road traffic collisions" on Saturday.
The M3 was blocked at junction 6 earlier this afternoon. Vehicles were asked to leave the motorway and rejoin on the other side of the roundabout.
In Mattingley, two fire crews, one from Hartley Wintney and one from Whitley Wood, were called to the scene at 11.20am.

They freed the trapped woman and righted the vehicle.
