THE ULVERSTON Food Waste Project are raising money to make dreams a reality.
The project has seen overwhelming support from the public since it was established at the start of this year.
A fundraiser has been launched via Crowdfunder in order to cover the costs of extra fuel for food delivery and collection, the purchase of new fridges and cooking appliances, staple foods and running costs as the harsh winter months crawl in.
The team are expecting a huge increase in demand over the festive period, and are hoping to see an increase in food donations too.
Ulverston Food Waste Project dreams of evolving the project into a community space with events, workshops and a food waste cafe in the new year.
