A MAN has appeared in court to deny taking a vehicle without its owner's consent.
Daniel Nigel Miller, 32, is accused of allowing himself to be a passenger in a Vauxhall Astra said to have been taken without its owner's permission.
South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard the offence was allegedly committed in Barrow on August 18 2019.
The defendant, of Lytham Road in Blackpool, pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared before the court.
He was remanded on bail and is due to appear for a hearing on January 18.
