A man accused of historical sex offences against a child is due to stand trial. Robert David Talbot, of Mountbatten Way in Millom, is accused of three indecent assaults, said to have been committed on a girl under 13 in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The 81-year-old is due to be appear at Preston Crown Court for a hearing on November 30.
He previously appeared before the bench at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow in August.
