FIVE people charged over an incident in Barrow town centre are due to appear in crown court today.
The defendants have been charged with threatening unlawful violence following an incident in the town.
Jodie Ann Hartlebury, 31, of Urswick Green, and Lisa Marie Hartlebury, 35, of York Street, offered no indication of plea to the charges when they appeared together initially in the dock at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court earlier this year.
The latter of the pair has also been charged with possessing a class A drug, namely cocaine.
The other defendants are James Holmes, 24, of Marsh Street, Sean Clark, 31, of Sutherland Street, and Christopher Booth, 30, of Hare Ghyll.
They also offered no indication of plea to using threatening abusive or insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence.
After appearing Preston Crown Crown, the defendants are due to face trial on April 5 2021.
A case management hearing has been scheduled to be held at the same court today.
