HOMES England have said that Help to Buy applications are being processed slower than normal.
Will German - Director of Help to Buy, Homes England, said: "Buying a home is exciting, daunting and at times quite stressful. Add to that the Covid-19 pandemic and a second lockdown, and we appreciate that this is a worrying time while you wait for approval for Help to Buy or the keys to your new home
"We cannot guarantee that our Help to Buy agents will be as available as normal to answer your call or respond to your email. But you have our assurance that their top priority is to send you the Authority to Proceed, exchange and complete on your home.
"We ask that you please bear with us and our Help to Buy agents during this time. We are working hard to help you buy your home and answer your enquiries. We are committed to doing this as quickly as possible, but this may be at a pace slower than we all would like."
