A CARAVAN fire in an Eden town is being treated as arson by police.
A police spokesman said a static caravan was set on fire at the old coal yard on Station Road, Appleby-in-Westmorland.
Cumbria Constabulary today launched an appeal for further information about the incident, which occurred at around 2am on December 12.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log number 11 of December 12.
