A CAR was seized in Kendal after it was found to have no tax.
Police said the Renault Scenic was initially stopped along Oxenholme Road because it had a brake light out.
A South Lakes Police spokesman said, after officers pulled the car over at around 11.50pm on Saturday, the driver was reported 'for having cord exposed on his tyre' and for having no vehicle excise licence - which would show tax had been paid on the vehicle.
