THE public is invited to attend a series of events being held to help people recognise the songs of different birds.
The online events are being led by Jamie Normington, senior education and volunteering officer at Cumbria Wildlife Trust.
There will be three 'birds for beginners' sessions, covering the avians people might see in their gardens through to those out on Cumbria's fells.
The first session is on January 25, the second on February 24 and the third on March 24.
All people need to take part is a desktop PC, laptop or smartphone.
The trust recommends a minimum donation of £2.50 per device.
