Millom’s Waterloo House Surgery has begun its Covid-19 vaccination programme.
The surgery will be providing the Pfizer/BioNTech jab today, Friday and Saturday to patients in the local area.
Eligible patients for the vaccine have been invited to attend the clinic and provided an appointment for this.
A statement said: “Please remember to only attend the surgery if you have been given an appointment.
"Do not attend for a vaccine if you have any symptoms of Covid, such as high temperature, new and persistent cough, loss or change to taste or smell.
“Please do not attend if you have been in contact with a Covid positive case.”
The surgery has also confirmed that there will also be emergency surgery and some pre-booked nurse appointments running alongside the vaccinations.
Patients attending any one of these selected appointments will be met at the gate by the entrance to the children’s centre and will receive guidance on where to go.
