PLANS to change a guest house into a holiday let have been approved by Lake District National Park Authority.
The site at Brantfell Road, Bowness, owned by Mr and Mrs Blaney, had a certificate of lawfulness granted.
A report said: "This application seeks a Certificate of Lawful Use for the use of an existing guesthouse known as Fairfield House and Gardens on Brantfell Road in Bowness-On-Windermere as one planning unit, to form guest house establishment, including owner's accommodation and two separate short-term holiday accommodation units."
