THREE fire engines were called out to a kitchen fire in Boon Town, Burton-in-Kendal on January 16.
On arrival crews discovered the fire involved the kitchen of a domestic property which was heavily smoke logged.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan to ventilate the property.
It was reported that one casualty suffered the possible effects of smoke inhalation.
Crews were in attendance for approximately fifty minutes.
