A SUPERMARKET has chosen to support a 'blooming-marvellous' cause in Ulverston for 2021.
Ulverston in Bloom is delighted that the Co-operative have chosen them as one of their local causes to support in 2021.
Last year the Ulverston in Bloom volunteers worked hard to fill Ulverston with flowers to cheer up the local community at a difficult time.
This year things are still tough but there are plans to complete a new Nature Friendly Gardening Project, be involved in a Climate Change Gardening Competition, fill the town with flowers and create displays to celebrate the centenary of the Royal British Legion.
Kim Farr, chair of Ulverston in Bloom, said βItβs great that The Co-op value the work that our volunteers do working with over a hundred flower beds and planters around the town and want to support us.β
