Five deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours at a Cumbrian NHS trust.
The North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust - which runs the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle and the West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven - recorded the deaths on Sunday.
Three deaths were also announced at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust - which runs hospitals in south Cumbria and north Lancashire.
Two deaths were recorded on January 16 and one on January 17.
