A weather warning has been issued for snow by the Met Office for Cumbria.
The yellow warning - the lowest of three warnings issued - covers the majority of the county, excluding West Cumbria.
The warning begins from 11am and is expected to be in place until just before midnight.
Hill snow may lead to some travel disruption, with some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
