AN MP visited a South Lakeland surgery to show his support for the vaccination programme under way there.
Tim Farron dropped in on the Nutwood Medical Practice, Grange, during a busy day of jabs on Saturday.
The surgery is playing a key role in administering the Pfizer-BioNTech in Cumbria.

Nutwood forms a consortium with practices in nearby Haverthwaite, Windermere and Ambleside.
Mr Farron said: "Today the vaccine is being delivered to local people across Grange, Cartmel and the Lakes.
"I don't want to say very much other than it's massively impressive what is going on here.

"I think we need to remember that, at the same time as nurses, GPs, receptionists, administrators, volunteers, are delivering this vaccine to hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of local people, they're also doing their day job as people ring up and have their normal complaints and talk to their GP.
"The GPs are not sending them away, they're seeing them as well.
"This is a fantastic effort, and I don't think we can say thank-you often enough, so - thank-you."

More than nine million people in the United Kingdom have now received a first dose of a vaccine against coronavirus, with around 500,000 having received a second dose.
On Saturday, when Mr Farron visited the Nutwood practice, a total of 598,389 people were administered a vaccine across the UK.
