POLICE have appealed for information after dogs worth a total of £13,500 were taken during a burglary in the Eden district.
Four black-and-white female border collies were stolen during the incident in the area of Musgrave Lane, Brough.
A police spokesman said one dog was described as having yellow colouring under her chest and another as having one brown eye and one blue.
The spokesman said the sheep dogs were taken between 3pm on January 27 and 12.20pm on January 28.
Anyone with information, including those with CCTV or dashcam footage, is asked to contact PC 2829 on 101, quoting incident number 77 of January 28.
