A PREGNANT ewe that was rescued after falling over a cliff has now given birth - with the newborn being named after a rescue team member.
Kendal Mountain Rescue Team (KMRT) was called out to Humphrey Head, near Grange, yesterday.
And the team has since announced the rescued sheep has given birth, with the tup being named Andy, after a KMRT member who assisted yesterday.
