WARNING: Police urge caution over scam calls
CUMBRIA Police has issued a warning to the public over scam calls.
A spokesman said a call about 'white goods' insurance was one of the top three scam calls targeting the elderly during lockdown.
He said: "These non-existent policies claim to cover breakdown or repair work on washing machines and fridges."
