INQUEST: Coroner’s Court, Cockermouth
AN INQUEST is due to take place following the death of a woman from Ambleside.
Priscilla Jill Smith died at the age of 84 in Lancaster on April 3, 2019.
The hearing will take place at Cockermouth Coroner's Court on March 11 at 2pm.
It is estimated to take two hours to come to a conclusion.
An inquest is a formal investigation conducted by a coroner in order to determine how someone died. Inquests are held only in certain circumstances, where a death was sudden and the cause is unknown or where someone has died an unnatural death.
