Emergency services respond after one-vehicle smash on the A590
A DRIVER escaped uninjured after a collision on the A590.
Pictures shared by police showed significant damage to the car.
One lane of the A590 was closed westbound after the one-vehicle collision, on Lindale Hill.
South Lakes Police said on Twitter: "The road is now clear, however the roads are very wet with blustery wind.
"The driver of this car is very lucky and suffered no injuries."
