A COUNCIL has voiced concerns over the ever growing number of potholes on roads in Longtown.
The issue was discussed at an online Arthuret Parish Council meeting on Monday evening.
Karen Johnson. parish clerk, provided an update to councillors.
She said: "I've reported six different areas not long after the last council meeting including Graham Street, English Street, Burn Street, Old Road, Netherby Road and particularly bad ones outside the medical centre and near the fire station at the school entrance.
"The biggest problem is that there are so many potholes, every time I drive I see so many.
"We have just got such a lot of potholes, but its not specific to this area, it's everywhere.
"We need to keep on top of it by reporting them."
It was also pointed out there were a number of potholes on the A6071.
The date of the next council meeting is April 6.
