ENQUIRIES: Are ongoing after reports of an attempted burglary
Enquiries are 'ongoing' after reports of an attempted burglary at Station Yard in Kirkby Lonsdale.
On Tuesday night police were contacted to the report of 'males attempting to enter a commercial lock up.'
It was reported to Cumbria Constabulary that two males, described as wearing balaclavas, were seen on CCTV at the time.
The area was searched with a negative result and enquiries are ongoing.
A force spokesman said: "Anyone with information is encouraged to contact 101, quoting incident number 172 of March 2.
"Alternatively, you can call the charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111."
