A FOURTH young man has admitted involved in a violent attack on a teenager.
At Carlisle Crown Court 18-year-old Joshua Callum Pickering faced one charge.
Pickering, of Lower Brook Street, Ulverston, pleaded guilty to assaulting a male, causing actual bodily harm, on August 21 last year.
His plea came a week after three others had admitted causing the male actual bodily harm during a hearing at the crown court.
They are Ethan Pickering, also aged 18 and of Lower Brook Street, Ulverston; 20-year-old Liam Pickering, of Coniston Drive, Kendal; and a 17-year-old male who cannot be identified because of his age.
All had previously denied a charge alleging that they caused grievous bodily harm with intent.
However, the prosecution have offered no evidence on that charge and deem the actual bodily harm pleas acceptable.
Detectives began an investigation and made a public appeal for information after the incident at Kent Street in Kendal.
This was reported to have occurred at around 12.45am on Friday August 21.
“The 17-year-old boy suffered minor injuries,” a Cumbria police spokesman said the aftermath.
The four male defendants are due to be sentenced by a judge at Carlisle Crown Court later this month.
