This is a request for content please for the May edition of the Austwick Parish Newsletter. With many thanks to everyone for finding interesting things to write during the lockdowns, I’m very much looking forward to hearing your plans for the ‘new normal’.

As usual, pictures are very welcome – high resolution if possible.

The Meeting of the Parish Council will take place by Zoom on Monday 12th April 2021 at7.30 pm. Time is given at the start of the meeting for electors to ask questions or make statements that relate to the work of the Council.

Please note that the Annual Parish Meeting planned to be held on 19th April has been cancelled. The possibility of holding this meeting at a later date remains under review.

Following the government announcement, we are now in national lockdown, Cross Leigh Stores & Post Office will continue to support our wonderful local community in any way we can and deliver to the village and surrounding areas as quickly as possible.

The shop and post office will maintain regular opening times with the two people at one time policy and urge customers to wear masks and use the hand sanitisers provided.
