A DEFENDANT who assaulted a man in a South Lakeland town is due to be sentenced.
Anthony Dennison previously admitted that he assaulted Daniel Mahoney in Windermere when he appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
The court heard that the 65-year-old defendant assaulted the victim by beating him on August 30 last year.
Dennison, of Liverpool Road in Warrington, was convicted of the offence and is due to appear at the same court to be sentenced for the charge on Friday.
