RESCUERS were called out after a woman sustained a suspected lower leg fracture in the Yorkshire Dales.
The casualty was close to Cautley Spout, a waterfall near Sedbergh.
Kendal Mountain Rescue Team and Kirkby Stephen Mountain Rescue Team attended the incident at around 1.50pm yesterday.
A spokesman for the Kendal team said: "Once treated on scene, the casualty was stretchered down and transferred to an awaiting North West Ambulance Service crew at the Cross Keys [pub].
"It was good to work alongside neighbouring teams again. We wish the casualty a full recovery."
