SHUT: Victoria Road in Ulverston will be closed for works
A TEMPORARY closure has been put in place on a road in Ulverston.
Cumbria County Council has ordered a temporary road closure of Victoria Road in Ulverston from May 23.
The road will be shut for one day to enable Network Rail to carry out bridge examination works.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times and an alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted section of Victoria Road, Park Road, Priory Road, Rake Lane, Urswick Road, Main Road, and the A590.
